Temple of Ellesyia
The Temple of Ellesyia is an ancient Egyptian rock-cut temple originally located near the site of Qasr Ibrim and today on display at the Museo Egizio in Turin, Italy. It was built during the 18th Dynasty by the Pharaoh Thutmosis III.
Judicial Papyrus of Turin
The Judicial Papyrus of Turin (also Turin legal papyrus) is a 12th-century BCE ancient Egyptian record of the trials held against conspirators plotting to assassinate Ramesses III in what is referred to as the "Harem conspiracy". The papyrus contains mostly summaries of the accusations, convictions and punishments meted out.
Bembine Tablet
The Bembine Tablet, the Bembine Table of Isis or the Mensa Isiaca (Isiac Tablet) is an elaborate tablet of bronze with enamel and silver inlay, most probably of Roman origin but imitating the ancient Egyptian style. It was named in the Renaissance after Cardinal Bembo, a celebrated antiquarian who acquired it after the 1527 sack of Rome.
Collections
There are more than 37,000 items in the museum, covering a period from the Paleolithic to the Coptic era. The most important are: Assemblea dei Re (Kings Assembly), a term originally indicating a collection of statues representing all the kings of the New Kingdom Temple of Ellesyia, donated as part of the International Campaign to Save the Monuments of Nubia Tomb of Kha and Merit (TT8), found intact by Schiaparelli in 1906 and transferred as a whole to the museum
