Sambuca Pistoiese is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Pistoia, in the Italian region of Tuscany. It is a scattered mountain municipality of the Pistoiese Mountains, located on the northern side of the Apennines, in the upper valleys of the Reno and of the Limentra streams. The municipal seat is in Taviano, while the municipality consists of several villages and hamlets, including Castello di Sambuca, Pavana, Treppio, Torri, Monachino, Frassignoni and San Pellegrino in Cassero.

Angelo Maria Monticelli (c. 1710, September 1758 or 1764) was an Italian castrato, appearing in operas in Italy, Vienna, Dresden, and from 1741 to 1746 in London. Monticelli was born in Milan about 1710.
