The Ballet Class is an oil painting on canvas created between 1874 and 1876 by the French artist Edgar Degas. The painting depicts a group of ballet dancers at the end of a lesson, led by ballet master Jules Perrot. Known for portraying dancers, Degas captured the grace and the rigorous nature of ballet as a profession.

The Tub (Woman Bathing in a Shallow Tub) is an 1886 pastel drawing on heavy wove paper by the French artist Edgar Degas. The work depicts a nude woman crouched in a shallow tub, illuminated by early morning light as she bathes. It is one of seven pastels Degas created in the mid-1880s showing women bathing or drying themselves in private interiors.

The Orchestra at the Opera (c. 1870) is an oil-on-canvas painting by the French artist Edgar Degas (1834 to 1917). The musicians depicted in the orchestra pit of the Salle Le Peletier the home of the Paris Opera (from 1821 until it burnt down in 1873) are mostly portraits of friends of Degas, foremost among them pictorially the bassoonist and composer Désiré Dihau (1838 to 1909), who commissioned the painting, at work on his instrument, and the cellist Louis-Marie Pilet (1815 to 1877) on his string instrument.

Blue Dancers (French - Danseuses bleues) is an 1897 pastel by Edgar Degas. It is held in the Pushkin Museum, in Moscow, which it entered in 1948 from the State Museum of Modern Western Art. It was in Durand-Ruel's collection and then until 1918 in Sergei Shchukin's collection in Moscow.

Miss La La at the Cirque Fernando is an oil on canvas painting by the French Impressionist artist Edgar Degas. Painted in 1879 and exhibited at the Fourth Impressionist Exhibition in Paris that same year, it is now in the collection of the National Gallery in London. It is Degas's only circus painting, and Miss La La is the only identifiable person of color in Degas's works.

Place de la Concorde or Viscount Lepic and his Daughters Crossing the Place de la Concorde is an 1875 oil painting by Edgar Degas. It depicts the cigar-smoking Ludovic-Napoléon Lepic, his daughters Eylau and Jeanine, his dog, and a solitary man on the left at Place de la Concorde in Paris. The man on the left may be the playwright Ludovic Halévy.

Lorenzo Pagans and Auguste de Gas is the title of a painting by Edgar Degas. Painted in oil on canvas, it is 54.5 cm high and 39.5 cm wide. The double portrait, painted around 1871 to 1872, shows the Catalan tenor Lorenzo Pagans performing a song and guitar recital.
