Two Sisters (On the Terrace) is an 1881 oil-on-canvas painting by French artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir in the collection of the Art Institute of Chicago. The dimensions of the painting are 100.5 cm × 81 cm. The title Two Sisters was given to the painting by Renoir, and the title On the Terrace by its first owner Paul Durand-Ruel.

The Daydream (French - La Rêverie) or Portrait of Jeanne Samary is an oil on canvas painting by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, from 1877. It is held at the Pushkin Museum, in Moscow. It portrays Jeanne Samary, a young actress at the Comédie-Française in Paris who had made her début as Dorine in Tartuffe in 1875 and lived on Rue Frochot, not far from Renoir's home.

Dance in the Country is an 1883 oil painting by French artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir. It is currently kept at the Musée d'Orsay in Paris. This painting was commissioned in 1882 by the merchant Paul Durand-Ruel who wanted works on the theme of the ball.

Frédéric Bazille at his Easel is an 1867 oil-on-canvas painting by Auguste Renoir, produced in response to Frédéric Bazille's own 1867 portrait of Renoir. It is owned by the Musée d'Orsay, which deposited it in 2006 at the Musée Fabre in Montpellier, Bazille's birthplace. The painting shows Bazille working on his still-life of a heron, which is also in the Musée Fabre.

He was the father of the actor Pierre Renoir (1885 to 1952), the filmmaker Jean Renoir (1894 to 1979) and the ceramic artist Claude Renoir (1901 to 1969). He was the grandfather of the filmmaker Claude Renoir (1913 to 1993), son of Pierre.

Dance at Bougival is an 1883 oil-on-canvas painting by the French artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir, currently in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Described as "one of the museum's most beloved works", it is one of three in a collection commissioned by Paul Durand-Ruel. It depicts a scene in the French village of Bougival, about 15 km from the center of Paris, a site utilized by many Impressionists besides Renoir including Claude Monet, Alfred Sisley, and Berthe Morisot.
